Elvira (Ella) Lindwall, M.D.

Dr. Ella Lindwall joined Advanced Rheumatology, Infusion and Clinical Research Center in the summer of 2012.  Dr. Lindwall went to medical school in her homeland of Russia where she also completed an internship in dermatology and venerology in 1995. After moving to the United States, she completed a residency in internal medicine at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Lafayette and a fellowship in rheumatology at the Ochsner Clinical Foundation in New Orleans.  During her fellowship, she was part of a team that won the inaugural rheumatology “Knowledge Bowl” at the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals Annual Scientific Meeting in 2011.

Dr. Lindwall, her husband, and two sons love living in California.  Dr. Lindwall is passionate about helping people with rheumatological disorders and being the best physician she can be.  In her spare time, she enjoys seafood, traveling and rooting for her favorite sports team, the New Orleans Saints.
