Lawrence P. McAdam, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Lawrence P. McAdam has practiced medicine in Thousand Oaks for over thirty years and is an active member of the community. At Los Robles Regional Medical Center, he has served in numerous capacities including chief of staff, member of the board of trustees and medical director of rehabilitation services.

A board certified rheumatologist, Dr. McAdam is nationally-recognized. He has conducted over 40 clinical trials and published eleven scholarly papers. His reputation has enabled him access to the widest variety of clinical trials.  To better serve patient needs, Dr. McAdam also established an infusion center as part of the Advanced Rheumatology practice.

Dr. McAdam is a founder of two successful medical-related firms: Rheumatology Diagnostic Lab (RDL) and Medical Diagnostic Imaging in Thousand Oaks. Additionally, Dr. McAdam has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at U.C.L.A. School of Medicine, of which he is a graduate. In Vietnam, Dr. McAdam served as a flight surgeon for the U.S. Army.

Dr. McAdam is affiliated with Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, and is a member of the Arthritis Foundation and the American College of Rheumatology.
