Munira Husain, M.D.

Dr. Munira Husain is a board-certified family physician who has lived and practiced medicine in the Thousand Oaks area since 2005.  Her expertise helps our practice offer patients convenient primary care and family medicine alongside their rheumatological care.

Dr. Husain’s medical training began at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India.  After an internship in India, Dr. Husain began her local medical career with a residency at Kaiser Permanente from 2005-2008.  Prior to joining Advanced Rheumatology in 2011, she worked for Thousand Oaks Urgent Care.

Dr. Husain and her husband, a local entrepreneur, have two children.  When away from work, Dr. Husain loves spending time with her family enjoying the many outdoor activities that are possible year-round here in Thousand Oaks.  She also loves travel, movies and reading.
